Austin Jaquith is a many-faceted musician with wide-ranging interests and skills. He has degrees in musical composition from The Cleveland Institute of Music (BM), University of Houston (MM), and Indiana University (DM). His interest in composition led him to film scoring, which in turn led him to a passion for recording and producing. He also maintains an active side interest in conducting, with an a cappella vocal ensemble at Cedarville University. As a recording engineer and producer, Austin currently the recording engineer and producer for Chamber Music in Yellow Springs. He has also produced and recorded music for the independent feature film 'The Challenger Disaster,' and the Elias Duo as well as mixing projects for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra for radio broadcast and streaming concerts. One of his bigger recording highlights was recording the Callisto quartet for a film score right as their reputation was exploding onto the international scene. Because of his deep experience in composition, conducting, and technology, Austin brings a unique perspective to all recording projects ensuring the highest-quality results.
